Kimono Culture Station has opened in Haneda Airport Terminal 3
2025/04/10
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, the Kimono Culture Station located in the Wing Airport Haneda in Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station has been opened.
The Cultural Foundation for Promoting the National Costume of Japan and Keikyu Corporation collaborated to open this commercial facility with “the communication of Japanese culture” and “hospitality” as shared keywords.
The Kimono Culture Station is intended to be a place for the general communication of Japanese culture with kimonos as the main focus. Inside the Station, kimono exhibitions and sales as well as a kimono-wearing service is offered, and hospitality is provided to inbound travelers. Moreover, in the adjoining rest area, photo spots has also been set up to enable travelers to spend the time they have at the airport, whether it be the free time before they return to their home countries or the brief pockets of time they have in mid-transit, to create memories through experiencing Japanese culture.
