has partially commenced
2024/12/24
On Saturday, December 21, 2024, a demonstration test for a passenger service using cards that support tap payment (credit, debit or prepaid card) or smartphones or other devices configured with those cards has commenced. This demonstration test, which is being conducted through cooperation between Toei Subway and Keikyu Corporation, enables the mutual riding of lines operated by both companies through tap payment with the use of a credit card, debit card, etc.
This service is available at 26 stations on the Toei Subway Asakusa, Mita and Oedo Lines and ten stations on Keikyu Lines. Passengers can ride these lines with ease just by tapping their card that supports tap payment or their smartphone or other device configured with their card at automatic ticket gates and other locations.
